Happy Holidays!
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved with Casting Off the Cold during this past year for your dedication to this cause. We could not have made the donations we did without all your help. Volunteer crafting, even when sitting at home to knit and crochet, takes time and talent, and we appreciate all of the work that our members put in throughout the year to make sure we have comforting items to donate before winter. You are the best!! Our Best Wishes for a Happy Holiday Season and a happy, healthy and prosperous 2018 for you and your loved ones. We look forward to seeing all of you next year.

Amica at Unionville group donation
The ladies in our Amica at Unionville group have been busy, although the group is very small. Here are all the donations from September and October. We only have a couple of regular members, but they really enjoy getting together to knit and talk about their work and their lives.
We will have one more meeting in November and then break until after the holiday season.
We've been concentrating on hats and scarves recently, but in the new year we will be making more toddler sized blankets and winter woollies for that age group. Here are the photos of our recent donations:
Thanks so much, ladies!

At the WOMEN'S CENTRE we delivered three large bags of baby and lots of hat and scarf set for the women. We hope that were able to give them enough warm items for this winter. It was such a good feeling to see how much they appreciated what we had for them.
