Happy New Year!
Happy New Year 2020 to our knitting and crocheting community! 2020 will mark the 15th year that Casting Off the Cold has been collecting the beautiful hand-knit items you have been making, and distributing them to a number of organizations in York Region that help support people in need.
As we have mentioned in previous posts, the recipient organizations are always impressed by the quality of the items we donate, and they are never short of clients who appreciate the time and care that has gone into making them.
Thank you all again for everything you do. We wish you the happiest, healthiest New Year and look forward to seeing you at a meeting or talking to you during the year. The meeting calendar page has been updated, but please check blog and facebook posts for any changes that may come up at the last minute.

Happy Holidays
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for the wonderful work you have done this year. All of our recipient organizations were thrilled to receive the bags of items we distributed, and were sure that they would be appreciated by the people who will be using them.
We wish each of you, and your families, the very best of the Holiday Season, however you may celebrate, and a healthy and prosperous New Year.
We look forward to seeing you in 2020!

DONATION NOVEMBER 2019 KRASMAN AND 360KIDS
We made our final donations for 2019 today, dropping off at the Krasman Centre and 360Kids in Richmond Hill. The recipients were very happy to accept the donations so they could help their clients through the winter, and they were amazed that all the items were handmade by our knitters. Thanks again to all of you who took the time to make and donate any projects to us this year. Keep those hooks and needles busy -we'll be doing it all again in 2020!
