MARKHAM JANUARY 2020 MEETING

What a great start for the 2020. Large afghans, from Mary and Linda. also a Queen size blanket. It is beautifully made, but will like to let any one making afghans for us, we need twin size, for 360 KIDS. Hats, mitts and baby hats from Anna and baby blankets from Allison and Cheri.

Happy New Year 2020 to our knitting and crocheting community! 2020 will mark the 15th year that Casting Off the Cold has been collecting the beautiful hand-knit items you have been making, and distributing them to a number of organizations in York Region that help support people in need.

As we have mentioned in previous posts, the recipient organizations are always impressed by the quality of the items we donate, and they are never short of clients who appreciate the time and care that has gone into making them.

Thank you all again for everything you do. We wish you the happiest, healthiest New Year and look forward to seeing you at a meeting or talking to you during the year. The meeting calendar page has been updated, but please check blog and facebook posts for any changes that may come up at the last minute.
