Yellow Brick House is another organization we have been donating to since Casting Off the Cold began in 2006. It serves the needs of abused women and their children who need a place to stay to rebuild their lives after leaving difficult and abusive family situations.
Our donation of 4 bags stuffed full. Sally certainly does know how to pack them in!
Tracy reported that they always need blankets and sweaters as well as clothing for all ages from babies to women's sizes. It will give those of us who want to try something different a chance to knit or crochet a sweater or some of those really cute baby clothes!

2010 has been a great year for us to learn more about the organizations we support, meet the people who work there and even some of the people who will benefit from our donations. We have a much better idea of what they all need and will be able to give our members a wide choice of projects to craft, knowing that they will all be appreciated. Keep those hooks and needles busy, everyone!
