MARKHAM LAST MEETING FOR 2016

On behalf of the CASTING OFF THE COLD TEAM if you  receive an item from any of the charities we donate to, and you don't want it, please return it to them. Some of our members have seen blankets, hats and scarves at Value Village in Oshawa and Care and Share in Stouffville.
We work very had to make these items for you, because you need warm clothing for your babies, and older kids. Also it cost us money to do this, so we will appreciate it if you will be a little more appreciative.

So the last meeting for 2016 in Markham was very successful.

2016 DONATION DELIVERED.


Here is Diane collecting the bags for Project Linus.
Over thirty baby blankets.

This is at Krasman's Centre on Young Street. Hat and scarf sets for the outreach program.

Here we are at 306 KIDS showing the Afghans that were made by the casting off the cold team and from online members.

This at Yellow Brick House, Lots of blankets for toddlers, sweathers for children, teens and adults.

Here is Janis showing some of the items she received from us. about 30 blankets and baby hats.

This is at Rose of Sharon and as you can see some beautiful items. Another 30 blankets, baby hats, baby sweaters and booties.

At the Women Centre, we are showing some of the items they received from us. Blankets, Afghans, hat and scarf set.

Up to Uxbridge to deliver on Friday. Monica, Karen and me showing some beautiful blankets, and baby hats.
Finally we delivered every thing on time for the cold weather. Hopefully they will all be happy there donation this year.
Thank you's were sent to all the members for their beautiful work and time they put into making every project, from the charities we donate to.
We are hoping to give at lease 50 baby blankets to each charity next year. Lets make this work.
