FINALLY A STOUFFVILLE GROUP

The Stouffville group started on the 26th of September, and we had a great turn out. Three new members from Stouffville, and some of the Markham members were there for support. We are hoping to see more crafters on October 17th and hopefully some teens and tweens will attend. Teenagers you are welcome to join, if you need to make up some community hours and donate some thing to the needy.
Well Stouffville crafters, I know you would love to help those in need, so why not join us at the Souffville Library, for an afternoon of knit/crochet and brag. We are there on the third Sunday of each month from 1pm to 3pm.
Here are a few items from our last meeting.

From Betty, a beautiful kids jacket.

Here is a scarf I made with the drop stitch,

and a blanket, the pattern is from one of my Leisure Art books.

Here we have Kassandra, she is knitting a cable baby blanket.
she is also working on her community hours.

Donna is working on a baby blanket,

And Susan is working on a scarf.

These are some items from Nayana,

this bag is crocheted, and she did a great job at it.

Siobhan is working on a baby blanket.

Pat loves to make baby clothing, and now she is crocheting a blanket.

These are the baby clothing she love to knit or crochet.
I wish i could do these tinny things.

These are from Barb.

Here Liz shows one of her special mitts finished and one in progress.

And here she is showing her finish blanket.

Also lots of preemie hats.

All these preemie hats are from Ruth, a friend of Liz.

Thank you so much Ruth.

I would like to thank the members of Markham for your support and your donation. Finally we are able to expand to Stouffville.
