JANUARY 2011 MEETING IN MARKHAM.

Here we are at our first meeting for 2011 , and to my surprise we collected six Afghans already. Well I can see that they have been working diligently on theses Afghans, to make our goal for this year. I will be seeing the Stouffville group next week and I am sure there will be some more there to pick up.

Here are some of the Afghans I made, a granny ripple,

This one is the wave ripple,

and this one is done with chunky yarn and the stitch is a double cross stitch. I love the finish look. And it is so warm.

Two beautiful hat and scarf sets and a nice warm scarf from Siobhan.

Here she is modeling this set that I love.
It is done together, and very warm. The pattern is called Nomad hat and scarf by Kay Coyle, from the fall 2007 interweave magazine.

And these a Liz's famous mitts, I just love them.

As usual from Margaret, lovely hat and scarf sets.

And here she is showing a baby blanket in blue.Looks great Margaret!

This hat and scarf set is from Jane, beautifully done.

Two gorgeous Afghans from Barb.

She used the v/shell stitch for these.

This Afghan looks amazing! Done by Monica.

And here she is showing a beautiful hat and scarf set.

Well ladies thank you again for all the wonderful stuff and hard work, to start the new year. This year's donation will be WARM, WARM, WARM. Love it.
