Happy New Year everyone, hope you all had a great 2012 and all the best for 2013. It was an amazing year for Casting off the Cold, thanks to all our online members and the group for doing their very best so we can make our goal. We donated over 2000 items this year and I am sure we can top that for 2013.
On that note we are looking for new members for both the Markham and Stouffville groups. You can join our online group or meet with us have some fun, learn a new craft and make something warm for someone in need. Please contact Sally, at firstname.lastname@example.org
This year I have spent a lot of time looking for new projects and stitches to share with you. I found this pattern and you start the pattern with a no chain foundation double stitch. I had no idea how to do this, so I searched and found a tutorial on You Tube. If you are going to give this a try, you will not go back to the regular chain foundation row. Wish you luck with it and have fun.
